Covid-19 Considerations

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation considers the health and safety of all those attending the Indiana Global Economic Summit our top priority. We are committed to hosting this event safely during the current health challenges and will continue to work with local and national public health officials to monitor and uphold best practices for everyone’s safety.

Currently the U.S. CDC and Department of State have overarching vaccination guidelines for all non-US citizens. We encourage you to review them and check back frequently for changes.

Providing a safer environment for our event participants is a shared responsibility. By attending the Indiana Global Economic Summit, you agree to abide by and engage in conduct that is beneficial to health and safety while attending the event. This includes, but is not limited to, complying with local regulations and not attending the event if you are ill or have been recently exposed to COVID-19.

Venue

The Indiana Convention Center has implemented new protocols and elevated practices in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Center features Hospital-grade air filters and 24/7 air circulation during events, readily available hand sanitizing stations, touchless implements in all restrooms, hands-free elbow door openers on all exterior and interior entry points, increased cleaning and disinfection with the Clorox 360 system, and modified food service policies.

In October of 2021, the Indiana Convention Center received the National Air Filtration Association's Clean Air Award, for the second year in a row, by sustaining and innovating its clean air status throughout the year.

Other Summit venues are also practicing current health protocols.
